Whiting, Indiana

Whiting is a quiet town of just over 5,000 located on the shores of Lake Michigan and is home to the annual Pierogi Festival. People are drawn to Whiting because of its proximity to Chicago a short 20 minutes from Whiting, gorgeous vintage homes and historic buildings including the Hoosier Theater and the Andrew Carnegie library. The Whiting Community Center was built by the Rockefeller family offers the residents many recreational activities.
