Munster was incorporated in 1907 and is home to over 23,000 residents. It borders Illinois on its west-side and is a quick 30-mile commute from the Chicago loop.
Munster has a large focus on modernization and redevelopment within its community. Five of its public schools have been renovated or expanded upon in the last 8 years alone. Munster High School is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 Indiana public high schools.
Another major redevelopment project is Centennial Village. It is just north of Centennial Park and will streamline transit while adding many retail and residential developments. Centennial Park, the newest and largest park in Munster, includes a restaurant, clubhouse, golf course, amphitheater, dog park, among many other types of recreation.
